Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Pallavi:

What was the defining moment that inspired you to start this wellness journey?

My wellness journey began with my own health transformation. After my second pregnancy, I struggled to lose weight despite trying various diets and consulting multiple dietitians.

Most approaches focused only on calories or protein intake, but I wasn’t seeing sustainable results. It was frustrating because I was putting in effort without truly understanding what my body actually needed.

Everything changed when I discovered the Wellness Quotient community. For the first time, I learned that health is much more than calories or weight loss. It’s about understanding the body as a whole: nutrition, sleep, stress, gut health, hydration, movement, and overall lifestyle habits.

By following a holistic approach, I lost 10 kilograms in just four months. More importantly, I gained energy, confidence, and a completely new understanding of health.

During this transformation, I realised I wasn’t alone. So many people around me were struggling with similar concerns weight issues, thyroid imbalances, hormonal challenges, fatigue, digestive problems, and lifestyle-related health conditions. Many were trying hard but unknowingly making mistakes because they lacked the right guidance.

That realisation inspired me to become a wellness consultant. Today, my mission is to help people understand their bodies, make informed choices, and build sustainable habits so they can become the healthiest version of themselves.

In a world flooded with quick fixes and fad diets, how do you help people build sustainable wellness habits?

I don’t believe in temporary solutions. My focus is on helping people understand why their body is responding a certain way and teaching them habits they can sustain for life.

Instead of extreme diets, I encourage balanced nutrition, mindful eating, proper sleep, hydration, movement, and stress management. Sustainable wellness isn’t about perfection; it’s about consistency.

Small daily habits practised consistently create far better and longer-lasting results than any short-term diet plan.

What are some of the biggest misconceptions people have about “healthy living,” and how do you address them?

One of the biggest misconceptions is that healthy living is simply about eating less and exercising more.

People often believe:

> Skipping meals helps with weight loss

> Healthy packaged foods are always healthy

> Supplements can replace a balanced diet

> No symptoms automatically mean good health

In reality, health is much deeper than that. I help people understand the importance of nourishment, quality sleep, stress management, hydration, and how the body functions as an interconnected system.

Awareness is the first step toward lasting change and a truly sustainable lifestyle.

You’ve positioned your brand as “Healthier You Starts Here.” What does a holistic healthy life truly mean to you beyond diet and fitness?

For me, holistic health means creating harmony between the body, mind, and lifestyle. It’s not just about what you eat or how much you exercise.

A truly healthy life includes:

– Good digestion

– Quality sleep

– Consistent energy levels

– Emotional balance

– Stress resilience

– Healthy relationships

– Purposeful living

– A sense of belonging and inner fulfilment

A healthy person is someone who feels physically strong, mentally clear, emotionally balanced, and fully capable of enjoying life.

How do you customise wellness strategies for individuals with different lifestyles, stress levels, and goals?

I strongly believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to wellness.

A working professional, homemaker, parent, or retiree all face different challenges and follow completely different routines. Before recommending anything, I take time to understand their lifestyle, responsibilities, eating habits, sleep patterns, stress levels, and health goals.

Based on this, I create realistic and practical strategies that fit naturally into their lives instead of expecting them to completely transform overnight. Wellness should feel sustainable, not stressful.

What role does mental and emotional well-being play in your wellness framework?

Mental and emotional well-being are foundational to physical health.

Chronic stress affects hormones, digestion, immunity, sleep quality, weight management, and overall wellness. Even the best nutrition plan cannot deliver optimal results if someone is constantly stressed or emotionally overwhelmed.

That’s why mindfulness, stress management, emotional awareness, and self-care form an essential part of my wellness framework. True health begins from within.

As an entrepreneur in the wellness space, what challenges have you faced while building trust and credibility?

One of the biggest challenges has been overcoming misinformation and unrealistic expectations created by quick-fix culture.

People often want immediate results because that’s what they constantly see advertised online. Building trust takes education, transparency, consistency, and helping people understand that true transformation doesn’t happen overnight.

I focus on evidence-based guidance, personalised support, and helping individuals achieve realistic and sustainable outcomes rather than temporary fixes.

Can you share a transformation story from your clients that deeply impacted you personally?

Over the years, many transformation stories have touched me deeply, but one remains especially close to my heart.

A client came to me struggling with severe allergies and constant sneezing. During our initial conversation, she shared something I will never forget:

“Sometimes I feel it’s better not to live such a life. I am constantly struggling with sneezing, and even my daughter cannot come close to me because anything can trigger it.”

As a mother myself, hearing that was heartbreaking. It wasn’t just a health concern it was affecting her relationship with her child, her confidence, and her overall quality of life.

We worked together using a holistic approach focused on nutrition, lifestyle, gut health, and identifying potential triggers. Gradually, her symptoms started improving, and over time, she experienced significant relief.

What impacted me most wasn’t just the improvement in her health it was seeing hope return to her life.

Moments like these remind me that wellness is about so much more than weight loss or numbers on a report. It’s about helping people reclaim their health, happiness, and the ability to fully participate in the moments that matter most.

Stories like hers are the reason I continue doing what I do every single day.

If someone wants to begin their wellness journey today but feels overwhelmed, what are the first three simple steps you would recommend?

I always encourage people to start small because lasting transformation begins with simple, consistent actions.

1. Prioritise Hydration
Drink adequate water throughout the day. Even mild dehydration can impact energy, digestion, and overall well-being.

2. Improve Meal Quality
Focus on real, whole foods and include adequate protein in your meals. Nourish your body instead of chasing shortcuts or restrictive diets.

3. Move Daily
Even a 20–30 minute walk can make a meaningful difference. Consistent movement supports both physical and mental well-being.

And one important reminder: don’t get overwhelmed by every viral health reel online. Every body is different, and there is no universal wellness formula.

Small, consistent habits create momentum, and over time, those simple steps lead to powerful and lasting transformation.
